The Rose
The Aphrodite (resembling La Chascona) mythe goes as follow: When she arose from the sea the flakes of foam touching the sand transformed into white roses. Emperor Heliogabalus was known for his lavish parties. A good example to illustrate this is a story that is told about one of his feasts. He closed the doors when all of his guests had arrived to his party and had a huge amount of rose petals fall over the people. A few guests suffocated under the load of petals.
