Batik is an Indonesian traditional fabric usually manually made with the wax-resist dying technique. Very impressive to watch how detailed these women work and how little they get payed. This time-consuming technique has been used for ages. The beautiful patterns are always filled with special meanings from the rich Hindu culture.
